LuK Leamington offers a truly superb working environment with the latest technology to enable our engineers to produce work of the highest quality. Site facilities include two floors of design offices complemented by garaging facilities, extensive test laboratories and workshops. The site also offers a subsidised staff restaurant and secure on site car parking.

We also offer 27 days annual holiday plus customary holidays, coupled with a flexitime system, to provide a flexible response to the needs of customer projects. Additionally a contributory pension scheme is available to everyone.

LuK believes strongly that employees should share in the Group's business success, and therefore all employees worldwide participate in a business performance related reward scheme, which is linked to the performance of its European manufacturing operations.

The shallow management structure is deliberately designed to empower decision making at the lowest level, and we seek engineers who accept task ownership and responsibility and look to be rewarded on merit for achievements. LuK place equal value on personal qualities and technical know how. Commitment, initiative and determination are important to us.

Staff development is supported through extensive commitment to training, both internal and external. Overseas travel in support of customer projects and technology transfer is to be expected.

LuK is a technically driven company and LuK's policy is to recruit high calibre engineering graduates, holding degree level or higher qualifications in either Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, ideally supported with previous experience in the automotive industry.

We offer a change from the traditional specialised roles, and prefer to develop multi-skilled Development Engineers focusing mainly on:-

Design, with the opportunity to work on new developments and production projects within the field of automated clutch and gear shift systems, contributing new ideas. Creativity need not be restricted to design however, but is also applied to prototype build and component testing, both on the test rig and in the vehicle.

New control system strategies, having involvement with exciting tasks in strategy and software development and working closely with both rig testing and vehicle testing.

In response, LuK offers the opportunity for a real engineering challenge and to realise your full potential as an engineer.
